Hello!
I hope your week is starting well! I've never used queries before so I was hoping maybe someone could offer me some help. In Table A and B I have 6 columns.
Column 1 - A Group ID
Column 2 - A date corresponding to the GROUP ID (the same date can be used for multiple groups)
Column 3 - Sample ID
Column 4 - Sampling method (X in table A and Y in table B)
Column 5 - Sample result 1 (these will be different in table A & B)
Column 6 - Sample result 2 (these will be different in table A & B)
An IMPORTANT thing to note is that there are less results that come up for Table A (sample method X)
So, what I'm trying to get is a query that pulls up Column 1, 2, & 3 and then also pulls all of the columns from Tables A & B for Columns 4, 5, & 6 but ONLY if there is corresponding data for Table A (uses sample method X and has less results/rows/whatever).
I hope this makes sense. Since I have no experience with Queries I have no idea how to do this X_X
Thank you for any help you can offer and have a wonderful week!
