Report Question - Print Object Button

    Hi all,

I am a novice to Access and am having issues involving the "Print Object" button on one of my reports. The report I'm printing contains several different sub reports that contain charts that are linked to data in temporary tables. When I click the "Print" button, the window for printing options loads, and I am able to print the report.

However, after I click "print", parts of the report temporarily disappear and the hour glass icon appears - as if the computer is thinking what objects can be sent to print. After a 5 second delay, my report prints, but the charts in the subreports that were displaying fine disappear. The template of the chart is still there, but the chart is either completely missing or the default template of the chart (wrong data) is all that displays.

When I go to look at the tables containing the data, the data is still there and accurate. What confuses me is that this issue only happens with the top 2 or 3 subreports in my main report (the ones near the top where the Print button is).

Any ideas as to why clicking "print" not only causes a delay in printing, but also causes certain charts to disappear?

Not an issue I have encountered but I have never put chart in a subreport. If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
