inserting an address when the same as home address

Hi, I am a bit rusty with access, I hope I can make myself clear.

I have two tables customers and appliances. The problem is sometimes a landlord has two address's, one home and one for his/her tenants.

What I would like to do is, using a check box if the data is the same tick a check box which would copy the details from the customers table to the corresponding fields in the appliances table.

    Can anyone help please?

You do not need to be as aggressive as this, all you need to do is to store the id of the customer in the applicances table and use a query to match the address.

If you were to copy the full address in to feilds into the appliances table this would need to be updated if the customer moved addresses. This way the address is always up to date.
