In my tables...and the associated forms.....if I go in there to update or add data, some of the fields won't let me enter data directly. I have to tab out of that field and then come back to it in order to enter the data.
What am I doing wrong here?

Could be a number of reasons. Want to provide db for analysis? Follow instructions at bottom of my post. Identify the objects involved in the issue.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
