I'm currently using Access to warehouse my financial reporting data, and use Excel for actual financial reporting. I would like to develop a more complete Access solution. Compiling some of the statement appears to be straight math, but calculating variances and ratios to include in reports and forms have me complexed. Am I trying to make a square peg fit into a round hole?
