Where is the Index for Table?

    Hi,

I was trying to prevent a field on table to create duplicates. I was going to change the Indexed for it to "Yes (No Duplicates)" but the table is linked to the source. I learned that the source is located in a server. I went there and it's totally different look! I went to Tables and saw the table name and open it. I clicked the row for the field and was looking for "Indexed" but it is not showing the Field Properties. It only shows a Columns tab. Please help!

    Thanks,
    netchie

The backend is an Access file? You opened table in design view? Not familiar with what you are encountering. Want to provide image or even the db? Follow instructions at bottom of my post.

Please see attached. I went to the server where the back-end is located at and that's how it looks like. I went to the Table and locate the field (ID No) but the Field Properties is not there. If this is the not the source (back-end), how can I find the link to it?

That is SQL Server database, not Access. I have never used SQL Server and know nothing about its table properties. Your question is not Access issue and should be in a SQL Server forum.

You can look at the table links (hover cursor over a link) and see the associated path. However, if the backend has been moved, the frontend won't help you find it.
