Access has a wizard for importing HTML. Did you try that?

I communicate only through forum posts and PM's.

I don't understand what you are doing.

You want to pull data from a web page? Are you downloading a file (csv, spreadsheet) from website?

    Hi,

I have to pull the data from a html webpage and append it to one of my tables

so i was just curious to know if we can do the same without downloading the html webpage into html document

by just giving the link some where in the access, like pulling data through a webquery and appending it to the existing table

Access 2010 introduced WebBrowser control. I have not used it and don't know if it will help you.

Can't replicate issue you have with the WebBrowser control. I just tested and it works.

The InsertHyperlink dialog did not automatically open for me. I had to right click > Add Hyperlink

I was able to install WebBrowser control and link to that web page. The data is viewable but not seeing how it can be captured to table programmatically. I was able to select the data and copy/paste to table but pastes all to one column. This is no different than copy/paste from web page in Internet Explorer. I am thinking there is no way to query the web page, regardless of how it is viewed.

I looked at the page source code and it appears to upload data from Excel. If the data were fed into web page elements, might be able to retrieve. This link hints at that possibility http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.p...p-and-Examples. I couldn't identify page elements that hold data.
