    Catalog of Databases

I have been tasked with cataloging our databases at my place of employement and then moving them into a centralized location. There are over 300 databases and they are interlinked. If I move one, it breaks many. Is there an easy way to begin cataloging the interlinking of these databases. Can I build a databse that will help me to run a report on which databases link to which. Is there a template for this? Any suggestions would be helpful

    Thanks in advance

I have been thinking about your "Task" , so I came up with the attached dB in Access 2000 format. (Not test in any other version)
You will have to input the full path and file name of the databases you want checked for linked tables. See tables.

The other table("LinkedTableNames") is for the results.

I know this is in rough form, but maybe it will give you some ideas.

Look at the code first... I have a stupid computer ....

    Run at your own risk.
This has a taillight guarantee... If you can see my taillights, I guarantee I will run!

Thanks. I see the validity of this. I have progressed toward something, but this will definately speed up the process.
