    Form/Menu Question w/Linked Database

    Is it possible to use a Menu like File,Help,etc.. and at the same time be linked to a different db for other criteria?
    Example: If say I want to use linked tables for my db but on my menu I want to use essentially 2 front ends, can this be done?
    Have one tab for one db and another for the other one so it appears as if you are only in one db?

    I am having serious design issues with getting 2 things to work together. My db is used for Buying and Selling Products,i.e. Inventory!

    More info please. Please describe what you are trying to do in plain English -- no access or database.

    if you have done some searching on database forums, you will have seen that Inventory Management is not
    simple and can be extremely complex. Getting your requirements sorted out is a major step.

    I am trying to do a Purchase and Sell Inventory Database. One form to Buy and One form to Sell. Buy is working, Just the sell part is not. Join error message. I know Inventory is a tricky issue. Maybe nobody is willing to help with this. I just need to get past the Join error and hope my relationships are ok. I am using a split db right now with some tables being shared.I uploaded the list of shared tables already. Also the db, NOT linked that I having the problem with. I think I am on the right path here. It was getting to complex for me to keep in my head. Use has a Buy Folder and a Sell folder where they can use the one they want. Problem is with the below;

    OrderDetailsExtended is the Query
    it uses 2 tables OrderDetails and Products
    Subform is named OrderDetailsSubform

    It is used on the Main form named CompanySellInventory

    Hope this helps.
