Unhappy Problems access 2010 after connecting to SQL 2008 on one computer OS Windows 7

Hi this is my first post on this forum. I have a client trying to run a query. My client connects to SQL 2008 from access 2010 to create the query using the tab External Data but the quere just cannot run a prompt is displayed for the SQL password every time the query is run. On the SQL log a message is logged that explains the password is incorrect when I know the password is correct. Question does anybody know what would cause this behavior? I can create a query with access 2010 by connecting to the same SQL server and using the same password and it runs fine on my computer. Thank you for any help.

When the SQL Server table is linked, there's a checkbox on the form where the tables are selected called "save password". That checkbox should be checked before clicking the ok button. You'll then may or may not get a prompt to save the password. Click the Save Password button.

Note if you select more than1 table, you'll get the Save Password prompt for each table.
