    Access and Using ADO

I've been a little detached from developing in Access for a few years. I have a new client who insist on needing an Access front end with some Sybase servers and I was going to start developing using ADO.

It appears that ADO is no longer common practice. Is this correct? I'm just trying to get some good reading or insite on best use scenarios - but couldn't really find anything. I thought I'd give an Access forum a try.

Any intellect on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

You could connect to Sybase ODBC and use DAO also

You might also try this link (It's a search of one of the access forums for Michael (mdlueck) and ADO -- he is a strong proponent of ADO)

    Good luck with your project.
