New System Design

Hi people

iam new to this forum and database
i wanted to design a database to record sales, purchase orders, stock and customer details.
i have attached a screen shot of the tables linked. the problem now is i cant create forms and display the data in the right way, so maybe its due to bad table design or linking

Have you looked at any of the existing templates that come with Access or all of thos on the Microsoft site? I'll bet you can find one that is close to what you need and then simply modify it to suit your needs.

i dont predent to be a expert, but i dont use the relations tool at all. it get lodged deep in and is a pain. i create my table and have relationships in my queries. if u dont have existing values in related tables you wont get results. deleting relations wont work either. access irritates u by keeping them somewhere in the db. to get rid of them u'd ve to delete the join feild and recreate them.

better to just make a new db and copy the tables over. copy paste
