Need to set up an automatic time stamp on a drop down menu.

    Hi,

I was hoping someone could help me with an issue I am having in Microsoft Access. I have a list of items, one of these items has a drop down menu with "queued", "active", "On Hold" and "Complete"
I need to set up a time stamp when the job is moved to "active" another when it is moved to "hold" another when moved from "hold" and one when its at "complete".
Can somebody please advise on how I might go about this?

Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to give.

    Thanks,

    James

Use the AfterUpdate event of that ComboBox to do the time stamping.

Is the Date/Time stamp in just one field in the table or do you have a different field for each timestamp?

I will have a field for each timestamp that is created and then another field comparing the time between each timestamp

With a ComboBox you could "skip" a process. have you thought of that?
