    Database connectivity Issue

    Hi,

    I usually enter data in my access database where both the front end and back end reside on a network.

    The problem is, occasionally the network connectivity is lost (~ and comes back up) and the data I have entered in the forms while this happens is lost (not saved in the database)
    And this seems to be happening quite a lot lately.

    My question is 1) Is the data loss because of the network connectivity being lost (which is obviously the simple reason to be considered) but
    2) If not, does it have something to do with the database itself..I am wondering if the message I get about network connectivity being lost has something to do with the database itself
    (corrupt database or something ???)

    Please advice.

    Do you get an error message and if so, what is it? Maybe try this;
    Use the MS Office disk to install the Linked Table Manager and update all linked tables to use the UNC path and not the static path.
