there are 6 fields in my table, fields 1-5 are to be filled with numbers and i want put the sum on the 6th field... but not all fields 1-5 will be filled with data. how can i do this considering that there are empty/null fields to be added...

But i've already tried to use the Nz function on my 6th field which is a calculated field but i've got an error message that calculated field cannot contain Nz Function. How can i properly used Nz function on my field????

Can't. Do the calculation in query or in textbox ControlSource on form or report.
