Cannot view all records in form view

I have two linked tables containing information about contacts (similar to an address book). One contains name and address info. the second contains affiliations (community position, job position). They are linked by a common list no.
I created a form for ease in viewing/entering. However, unless I enter information that would go into both tables, it will not show up in form view (after I close form). In other words, if I only enter a name and address and not any sort of affiliation, it won't show up in the form view.

I checked and "data entry" for the form is set to no.
    Any ideas?

Look at the Join properties. I'll bet you have it set to require valid fields in both tables. You probably want some form of a Left Join.
