    Exactly which library?

I know that if I don't select Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 2.8 Library that my code declaring ADODB connections and recordsets won't compile.

    I ask about ADO Library

i had studied How to make connection between Visual basic & microsoft access by ADO Library.
until that moment i thought ADO Library used to connect between VB & MS Access
But I founded ADO library in refrence of MS Access also so that i confused

If ADO libraru used to connect between VB $ MS Access ? then why it exist in MS Access ?!.

    Sorry this is so lengthy

I need to know the full name of the library reference you are asking about. I don't find anything called just 'ADO Library' but I suspect my previous post addresses the relevant library.

The library isn't just for making connections by VB to Access. It is also used for opening recordsets of data in Access.
