    Hyperlinks from DropDown

I am having a problem with hyperlinks when connected or attached to my form. All hyperlinks are current and work from the table, but do nothing when selected from a drop down in my form. Everything was working last Wed/Thur, but I get an error on Friday that reads: “Microsoft can’t follow the hyperlink.” Not sure what changed or why, but these links within the form (citation 1-6) would really prove helpful. Is this a common problem with hyperlinks? Is there a better way to include hyperlinks? Database attached. Thanks.

All comboboxes IsHyperlink property is set to No. That might be the cause of issue. I can't test the form right now (Access 2007 doesn't like the Complaints table for some reason).

Could you please be a little more specific? Where do I change these properties? Thanks.

IsHyperlink is a property of data controls. It is on the Format tab of the Property Sheet.

I spoke too soon. That fixed the problem for a minute.... I have the error again. It reads: “Microsoft can’t follow the hyperlink.”

Just noticed a few other error codes....... -1060 [reserved error (i); there is no message for this error]. -1053 [index or primary key cannot contain a null value]. Both codes are pointing at the standards table, which only contains hyperlinks (they are there and do work when you click them). What does this mean? Its almost as if the hyperlinks become unstable.

I haven't used hyperlinks a lot but never had these issues.

I will look at your db again later tonight with Access 2010.

Afraid I don't have a solution. Some of the hyperlinks seem to work. They open web download link.

Other links won't work for me even from the table. If those other links are to files on your server, maybe something changed on folder permissions.
