Continuous forms continuing on new column.

    Hello,

I'm trying to create a dynamic array of buttons, so when people add new entries to the table, new buttons appear. This can be done by creating a continuous form, and making the records click-able. The problem is, there are 20 buttons, and there could be up to 30, so I want it to go on multiple columns.

I couldn't find anyway to do this easily, but maybe I can do it my creating multiple sub-forms in a form? I would need the second column to somehow reference the first sub-form, to find out where it ended, then start there. I'm thinking I'll have 3 columns, maybe 4. I can't seem to find a way to do this though.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

In a continuous form, there are not 20 -30 buttons, there is only one button. Look at the form in design view = how many buttons are there?

What are you trying to do?

You might try a list box and a button to perform the action....

It's not really a button, it's a click-able text box reading from a table. It displays them all vertically, but there is not enough room for all entries to display at once. I'd like it to start on a new column when it runs out of room vertically to display records.

    Edit:
I've decided not to do this anymore, I'll just have it scroll down.

    Thanks anyways.
