    Query to match ID's

I am very new to Access, so please bear with me.

I have a small database in Access and I realized that I need to add the SpecialtyID field to the Referral table (see attached).

I need the SpecialtyID to match up to the DrID in the Referral table. I have no idea on hoow to go about this.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I would ask that you be specific.

    Thank you,
    Don

You can get to the Specialty through the Doctor. You do not need this information directly in the Referral table.

    Thank you, RuralGuy.

I thought so, but it is probably my inexperience with Querys that is hampering my ability to see the data like I expect it to be.

Thanks for responding. I'll get back to it.
