subreport length problem

Hello, I'm sure this is a simple question, and I'm just being an idiot. I have a report with three subreports. Those subreports can vary in size. I cannot figure out how to get the subreports to physically vary in size on the main report. I have checked "can grow" and "can shrink" but yet they don't seem to do so, at least not within the context of the main report.



What I need is a single report that displays three subreports vertically.

I have report like that and the subreports expand as needed.

The report runs fine for me. There is a lot of white space in the Detail section. Could position the subform container controls closer and reduce size of section.

Ugh. Didn't realize that one section was 20" wide, throwing what I was looking at out of whack. Rookie mistake. Thanks for the help!
