I might be asking a question the wrong way here, but I have a report based on a query that is applicable to both the "Report Header" AND "Detail Section". What I want to do is populate the report header page with a list of names taken from one of the control source record fields. It would be as though I had a single 4 column page report based on a single field within each record. Then had appended a second report wherein the "Detail Section" is based on THE SAME control source but with a different format structure.
I'm working on an application that involves a Directory of profiles, where each profile is based on a single record returned by a query. I want to have the report header section contain a list of names corresponding to each of the profiles. It would seem to suggest that one pass through the control source needs to occur for the report header and a second pass to create the detail section.
Thoughts please.
