Receiving an #Error message in a form footer sub total

Hi. I hope someone can help me. I have a customer database that I use and want to create quotes from; however, the form footer sum function is not working. I need to have it multiple the size by price by qty. Both the price and qty field are text boxes but the size field is a lookup field. I understand that the sum function is not able to use calculated fields. Is there a way around this to make my sum work? I have attached a dummy database to assist in understanding my question.

    Thank you

In your relationship diagram what do tblStates_1,tblStates_2,tblStates_3,tblStates_4 represent?
Why are they there? same for tblCustomer_1 tblQuote_1

I have removed them and tried to simplify the picture.
I'm not sure I understand How Quotes for Products are related to Customers.

Could you describe the tables and relationships in overview?

There is a customer table which can have multiple quotes. Within each quote there is a subform listing the products for that quote.

    That's an mdb.

Do you Quote just 1 product at a time? Do you really have Orders and LineItems?

see the discussion on this link

Thank you. Each quote can have multiple products. Each product on the quote is consided a line item then we have orders based from those quotes we need to capture.

I suggest you read the thread at stack overflow from earlier post and work with that data model and comments. It seems to mimic
your situation. It also seems thorough with respect to the Quote->Order->Invoice.

Good luck with whatever approach you take.
