Exclamation Creating a Record that automatically adds more records

    Hello,
I am having trouble figuring out how to set up my table. I currently have 11 tables for this rather large database, it is pretty straight forward but with an exeception. When a user enters information into a specific field it may have 1 to infinate amount. I tried creating it in the table manually by adding 10 records for that field but that is restricting the database. I want to create a form that will ask how many would you like to enter if the user says 15 then 15 lines will pop up allowing the user to enter 15 and saving it in the table . I am not sure if I am making any sense, but any help would be greatly apprieciated this is a time sesitive project.

    Just an example:
I have a bike and that on monday I travel to 3 destinations so I would like to enter 3 and type in the 3 destinations. That will be saved in the database. But then on tuesday I traveled to 15 destinations so I would want to enter 15 and then be able to type in the 15 destinations and have it saved in the database as well.

Why not just use a Continuous Form and add as many records as needed each time?

My manager does not want it to be a manual process. And as for the continuous form I am not sure how to create that

The user will need to add the destinations manually either way. It is under the Format Tab of the Property sheet for the Form. Just switch it to Continuous Form View and play around a bit. Be sure "Allow Additions" is set True.

by doing this will i still need to create the values in a table as a place holder? or will this form automatically create a new record on the table if the user would like to enter 5 destinations instead of 1?
thank you so much for all your help

You need to try the Continuous Form View for yourself. Each record will be created one at a time as complete as you make them.
