I have no Access knowledge, but am wondering if anyone has in the past made an Access database for investment management.
Essentially what I want is a database where I can organize research projects- so that each one can be easily broken out into the files associated with that project, the people associated, and all other information associated with that project. I obviously need the database to be fully searchable. So if I've met a technology consultant named Bob, I can search the database for "technology consultants" or people named Bob.
As more and more projects come in, it has been too difficult to effectively organize my information efficiently in windows explorer.
Is Access the correct tool for this application?
