How to Delete a table link in MS Access 2007

    Hi,

The tables in .mdb database are linked to a backend database.
How do I delete the links, without deleting the tables?

If you just click on and delete the table in the front end, you're only deleting the link. The table will remain in the back end.

Yeah, I am doing the same thing. But when I click on the Linked Table Manager, it still shows the linked tables and I have the options of 'Select All', 'Deselect All' etc.
So what am I missing. Even when I select a table after I delete the link will it give me all these options, because when I select one table and click OK, I get the message all selected linked tables updated successfully.

I meant to either highlight the table and hit the Delete key or right click on the table and select Delete (both in the Navigation Pane). I don't think you can delete the link in the Linked Table Manager (though you'd think you should be able to).
