    Producing a stand-alone Access Program

Is it possible to compile an Access 2010 program into a stand-alone which could be run on a computer without Access? This was possible on DBaseIII (shows how old I am),

No, but there is a free runtime version of Access available from Microsoft. It allows a user to run an Access application but doesn't have any design capability.

I've had a quick look at that runtime facility and it may well be suitable. Thank you very much.
