Larry has three approaches demonstrated in his download. Perhaps they will give you some ideas.
thanks for the quick reply, but can you assist me with adding the as external files? because as you know am not that good with the codes.
tell me which one is better to have the pictures external or embedded in the DB?
I prefer my pictures external to the db.
no i don't have any pictures added yet..i was only testing the db OLE but i don't like it the way it works.
can you could add some sample pictures and check it for me.
thanks in advance
Have you looked at the Employee form in the Northwind sample db? It displays pictures as well.
i check the db, but this db is using the attach option on my db doesn't give me that option.
have you check my db and see if i can use something to display the picture?
thanks mate.
RC thanks for the help but it seems i didn't link the link with the Image option on Access 2007. now that i linked it works.
The only problem that i get now is that after inserting a picture it takes you to the first record..how can i prevent that???
thanks.
Good, you are making progress. What are you doing to "insert a picture"?
If you have download mt db you will see the "Add Image" button that i have on the Employee Table form.
I think i have a problem there when it adds the picture...but i can't see where.
hope is that what you asking.
A Requery takes the RecordSet back to the 1st record. I see no reason for the Requery anyway.
From your "Add Image" button code.
