    Creating Welcome Form Help

    Hi everyone,

So I am creating a Welcome form that has tabs of all the Forms I have:

The problem I am having is when I run the navigation form with the Forms added, A "Enter Parameter Value" Window Pops up!

This happens for all my forms except for the simple ones (I.E Query Sort Forms)

    Any ideas?

Note: The welcome screen does work when the forms are opened.

Another possibility is that you've got a reference to a form, which changes when it becomes a subform:

Forms Refer to Form and Subform properties and controls

I couldnt have misspelled because i simply dragged and dropped the form into the navigation forum and it automatically did everything. I just find it so weird that it works when i open the form but not without it.

I found the problem! It my Form Record source i have the following criteria : Like [forms]![Job Number LookUp].[Job_Number_Selector] & "*"

When i remove that part, the form doesnt work but the navigation form opens.
I beleive the reason i have that is a criteria is because when I change the combo box in my form I need the record to update to that forum.

Im going to try and figure it out for now, but if anyone has any idea how to fix it, that will be cool to

    Thank you.

Well, you have to decide whether the form will stand alone or be a subform, then use the appropriate syntax.

Is there a video I can look at that helps me better understand the forum, Subforum relationship? I am unsure how to rename my form so that it works like a subforum for the Welcome/Navigation Form.

I'm not aware of one. You shouldn't have to rename the form, just change the reference to it that you found. Can you post the db here?

    The criteria becomes

    Forms![Welcome]![NavigationSubform].Form![Job_Number_Selector]

    Edit: sorry the criteria is:

    Like [Forms]![Welcome]![NavigationSubform].[Form]![Job_Number_Selector] & "*"
