Combing two tables with missing dates

On one list, I have all the items I sell. On another list, I have the item, Datefield, and PurchaseQty.

Sometimes I don't have a PurchaseQty for each DateField by item, but if the Item is on my first list, I want the missing date to appear on a new table along with the item and null to 0 for the Purchase Qty.

Maybe try an Unmatched Query (there is a wizard for it)?
You can use the NZ function to convert Null values that are returned into 0.
