Hi, I'm new to MS Access report creation, and doing something for a friend.
I'm trying to create a report from a query, that will all the employees from a specific department of a company.
The way I did the report (using Access itself), it shows the department on the left column in all lines, so it's repeating that a lot of times.
So my idea was to have just once on the top Department, and then bellow having all the names and other info from employee, until it reached the next department.
I have now something like this:
Department Name Age
IT Mike 29
IT Sandra 30
IT Gene 55
And I would like something like this:
Department: IT
Name Age
Mike 29
Sandra 30
Gene 55
How can I set that field so it will appear on the top and only once?
