Hi,
So I've got what I think is a pretty complicated query I need to build, and while I think it's possible, I'm not sure how to build it, really.
Basically I need to calculate a work-in-progress amount.
I've got a timesheet form with 5 subforms: Hours worked, equipment used, vehicles used, materials used, and Jobs.
Hours worked has a number of hours, and a role which has a specific chargeout rate.
Equipment is similar.
Vehicles used has a mileage amount, which is then applied to a $/mile amount.
Materials used is just a total $ amount.
Jobs specifies the jobs worked, with the percentage of that days time/charges that should be applied to that job. (And the job is then linked to a client).
Ideally I'd like to be able to track WIP by job# by taking the timesheet and going:
[% application]x [(Hours worked x role chargeout) + (Equipment used x chargeout) + (Miles x Chargeout) + Materials Amount]
Does that sound like a thing that's possible?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I feel like my database structure is right, but now I'm struggling with getting it to tell me the information I want.
Thanks in advance
