Number of files in a folder.

I know this information can be obtained from the folder properties in Windows but I am thinking of presenting the data for several folders, from paths specified in a program, alongside similar data from the tables in my database.

Has anyone come accross a suitable method of achieving this or something similar.

even though visual basic legacy, as a development environment, has multiple problems associated with it and is not really dependable, Allen Browne is probably still the best reference:

    Thanks.

Not quite what I was thinking of but useful none-the-less.
