Populate field in a table from another table...

This is an elementary question, and I am exhausted from looking all over for the solution so I thought I would tap into the unlimited resource here...
I have two tables tblProject and tblInvoice.

In the tblInvoice one of the fields asks for JobNumber. I would like to, based on that JobNumber, to look up tblProject for the corresponding ContractValue and auto fill a field in tblInvoice with that ContractValue.

Paul's webpage gives you the choices here, but because of your thread title and the fact that you only mention Tables in your post, I have to ask: You do understand, do you not, that this has to be done using Forms? It cannot be done simply using Tables, nor should it, as data should never be entered directly into Tables.
