Anyone has any thoughts on this one?
Every time i try to import this message pops up. Although when i click YES i am able to continue normally
Try deleting saved import spec. Review http://www.utteraccess.com/forum/Del...c-t585458.html

I have created the same import spec 5 different times and they all give the same warning
Do you mean deleteing all the un used ones?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks
Do you want to save and use an import spec for repetitive import procedure?
I don't have need for regular import and don't have specs saved. I have never encountered that message. I can only suggest removing all import/export
specs and see what happens.

I have actually got a macro , that has this import spec saved which i call using a button click.
The button click doesn seem to work and when i manually try to import the data using the saved spec i get the warning message as mentioned above
I just tested running an import spec and message I get is "Overwrite existing table or query 'MyTest'".
Then I tried to build button Click macro and couldn't figure that out (I don't use macros) - the RunSavedImportExport was not available - so used VBA code. The import spec ran without any messages.
DoCmd.RunSavedImportExport "Import-MyTest"
Can't replicate your issue. If you want to provide files, will look at.

Well,
I am able to run the other imports well using the same process sequence. Click a button -> Run the associated macro -> execute using the defined spec.
Just this one gives me this wierd message..
Since I can't replicate all I could do is analyze your files and try to find out what is happening.

Is the file you are importing always located in the same place and named the same? If so, why not write an Event Procedure to import said data....
