    Edit Templates

I just purchased Access 2010. I found a template that comes reasonably close to what I need for inventory tracking. There are a couple things that I need to add and change. This is a template that requires payment to download. I'm not against that at all but I want to make sure that if I'm going to pay for it, I can edit it. Are all templates editable or can they be protected to prevent changes. Thanks for your help.

If the Access file has extension mde or accde then it is not editable. If they are calling it a template file then I expect it is an mdb or accdb and can be edited.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
