Help, need to capture some data in 1 table and all data in another.

Hey all, I have a small conflict!

I have 2 tables. First table is " All Info " - Second table is " Press Conference Information " I need to track specific information such as date and location. So my main purpose is to not duplicate data entry on the first main table or overwrite it when I am updating or changing the date of the conference but keeping the old original dates ever scheduled for tracking purposes.

So for example if Randy Couture rescheduled his trip to LA 4 times from 2/1/2009 to 3/1/2009 to 4/1/2009 to 6/1/2009 - I will know in my second table, what date changes he ever made to LA, yet also having the most updated Location and date in my MAIN TABLE.

So what I am asking please is to not data entry over and over Randy Couture Name address phone etc...But find his one record and update his rescheduled date information in the second table.

Please help any feedback would be appreciated

I provided a copy of my ms access 2007-2010 file to see how my simple set up looks!

Why duplicate the latest location and date in MAIN TABLE? Can always query the second table to retrieve the latest record.

    Your database is not attached.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
