Emailing monthly report through access 2007

I am building a simple database that contains some physician certification expiration dates. I know it's possible to send an email through access with the button option, but is it possible to use some code to send an email to each separate physician based on certain criteria?

For example. I want access to email Dr. James Doe that his EM board certification is expiring at the end of May.
So the criteria would be email everyone who is expiring after 05/31/2012.

    Your help is appreciated.

    Thank you

Yes, all that can be controlled with VBA code.
