using between <date()

is it possible to set a query with the following code: <date()-180 and <date()-365

what i want is to to show records from 6 months to 12 months only.

what am i doing wrong?

It would be better to use the dateadd() function and you could use the BETWEEN...AND clause

WHERE yourdatefield BETWEEN dateadd("d",-180,date()) AND dateadd("d",-365, date())
