Post Count records based on report ,not in query

    Hi there,
I have an access 2010 report fro which I need to add a count to each group from the report (which had already filtered duplicated records) and not from query. I used in the control source the =count(*) and I do get the records of each group but from the query which has a lot of duplicated records !.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Not real sure what you are trying to do.

To count the number of records in a group on a report, add an unbound text box in the detail section.
Set the Control Source to "=1" (no quotes).
Open the properties dialog box for the text box.
On the data tab, set the "Running Sum" property to "Over Group".
