    Database Design

I've got a course/student database for our new-hire training program. What I'd like be be able to do is to associate students in a given class with a set of assignments that could be edited for a given student based on specific on-the-job training assignments, etc. Currently, if I run a query and try to edit an assignment using a form, the assignment changes for all students in the class. I guess this makes sense, given the way the tables and relationships are set up.

What would I need to do to be able to associate a set of assignments with a student that could then be edited?

I've attached a shot of my table structure. One thing that doesn't seem to work: The StudentAssignments table doesn't populate with StudentID and AssignmentID.

Seems to be appropriate structure. Perhaps data entry is not set up properly.
Do you want to provide project for analysis - follow instructions at bottom of my post.

Check out the database attached to https://www.accessforums.net/showthr...chool-database
