    Can't delete data from Backend

    Greetings,

I'm a beginner with a small 2010 DB I've acquired and streamlined with great input from you folks over the last year. It's split w/ the backend on a network drive. Everyone
has an identical front. No one is using the DB but myself today, and here's the problem. I tried to delete data from a form field. When I closed the DB and re-opened, that data
showed back up. I opened the backend and manually blanked out the offending field, saved, and re-opened the frontend. When I searched for that record, it came up blanked..
All was fine, but only for a moment: I watched the data appear in the field again with the form open.

My DB is only one large table, very flat, and simple. I haven't noticed this before, but it may have occurred before. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

Want to provide the project (both parts, assuming both are Access files) for analysis?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

    Hi -

You might also want to look at the On Current event of the form to see if there is any code that might automatically be filling in the blank field.
