Query Results where there are two subforms

I think there is going to be a simple answer to this.
I have found that if I have no entries in a subform a query will not show any results at all incuding fields from the main form. Easy, make sure the subform has entries.
I have a DB that has two subforms and entries will either be in one or the other.
So now I don't get any results at all form my query.
    any clues anyone

Don't understand this arrangement. What query is depending on the subforms for what data? What are table relationships? Show the SQL or attach project for analysis. The issue is probably because of the join types in the query.

Hi June7 Thanks for your reply. This is something that has been a little irksome. I have a couple of DBs where I have put a tag on the subform label "Entry in the Subform is Mandatory for Records to Show. That works
As i mentioned I have two subforms and for the most part there is only records in one or the other. Most of my reports are working fine but I am trying to do two that are affected by this issue.
I thought I'd quickly throw together a sample (Humph) Two hours later. Any way there is a One subform sample and a two subform sample. Anyway if I get a solution to this it will be well worth it. Thankyou again
