When a form gets it's Default View Property set to 'DataSheet', what controls the grid column order of the controls on the form? Can these be set in design mode? Any help would be appreciated....

Rearrange them in Datasheet view then close and reopen form. The columns will stay in that order until project reopened.
Rearrange them in Datasheet view then click Save. The columns will retain that order even after project reopened.

Thanks, That got me started...For some reason, I have to right click and select 'Unfreeze all colums' - then I can move stuff around. After moving stuff around I close Access and upon reopen the changes that I made are still in effect...I was not prompted on exit to save any changes! Is this behaviour controlled by some properties?

I don't know of any property settings. It's just the way Datasheet view works. I suppose Access is saving something in some hidden system table. I have never had columns 'frozen'. I always have to click Save to make the arrangement stick.
