Back from Vacation to find my database messed up

Went on a two week vacation from work, then just came back to find my entire Access Database messed up, and when I say messed up I mean the columns are all jumbled where their not supposed to be, and most of the data is missing. Please tell me there's some way to recover it all.

What exactly is the environment --multiuser; someone else doing development....

You do do backups on a schedule ---right?

Upon further inspection, I found that the table where most of the information is kept is still in tact, it is just the excel file that populates an important query no longer contains any of the information I had imported into it.

My guess is that my supervisor, who also uses the same files as me, though not as much, imported some new files into this main excel file. So yes, to answer your question, this database and all subsequent information therein is open to people with access to the schools office network. This being said, I'm still getting familiar with all of Access' abilities and therefore am unsure about how to do things like backup the entire database. Is this just a simple, copy database, past somewhere else? Just throwing ideas around.

Here's a link regarding Database Backup.

It's a good policy to backup your database in case of
    -malicious access/changes
    -changes because of development activity
    -machine and/or power failure
    ....

Kernel for Access Repair performs a recursive scanning of the lost files and folders and successfully retrieves the data back, it is the technically advanced tool that helps in retrieving lost Access database by repairing MDB and ACCDB files.
