Here it is again.
strange its still doing it. I have just tried opening the one I sent and that loads ok , very strange , any Ideas?
I was able to go back and downloaded the first one I posted and was able to open it just fine. Are you putting the database in a trusted location?
I will try and save it to somewhere else.
PS Trusted location?.
edit : No that didn't work, it wouldn't be compatibility between 2007 & 2010 versions would it ?
I believe that it is a compatablity issue between Access 2007 and 2010. I found this site that has an explanation. I have Access 2010. I've created a new database and imported just the objects you had plus the 1 form for the standing orders. Hopefully you will be able to open it.
I found this not sure if it pertains to my problem http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/For...3-f3c82018c804
haha you beat me to it
alas still getting this Attachment 6907 are you compacting and repairing because the website i looked at said that in this instance it may not be the best route
I can get office 2010 if it helps
What I might try is to create an Access 2003 format database. I will gave that a shot later on tonight.
thank you for your patience
Here is the Access 2003 version. I had to rebuild the form for creating the new orders from the standing orders.
I managed to lay my hands on a copy of 2010 , sorry you went through the bother of converting, I thought would be better if I used one that you had , just looking at the structure now .

No problem. If others are following the thread, they may be using Access 2003, so now they can look at what we have been doing.
Hi Jzw , the standing order table is working well, Is it possible in access to have an order auto appear because of the day of the week , its just with 25 or so customers to print off delivery notes for every day the Createnewformfromstandingorder form becomes maybe not the best way for the person inputting the data, even though it works very well. could I populate a datasheet form with data from the standing orders table , with days of the week across top and products down the left margin. Is that possible in access.
Lee
Abosolutely, but it would take some code to autogenerate those orders. You could then have a query that gives you all the orders that were created by the code in case you have to locate one you have to edit.Is it possible in access to have an order auto appear because of the day of the week
As to the datasheet, what you are describing would probably require a cross tab query. You might have trouble editing data in one of those. Unfortunately, I am not very good with cross tabs, so you might start a new thread with that specific question.
