Date Validation for a course

I've done some validation for a date [Date_attended] in a subform [course_attended] of a form [employee_2012.

I put it in the validation part of the data in the properties section.

It goes like this:-

>[Forms]![Employee_2012]![Employment_Date] Or Is Null

I thought it did work but now I get a message saying:-

Mircrosoft Access cant find the Object ">[Forms]![Employee_2012]![Employment_Date"



It then goes on to ask me if its a new macro or macro group and have I typed it and saved it correctly?


What did I do wrong anyone???

That form must be open.

The form is open but I still get the message.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
