I have a simple query based on my products. The query is transformed into a form. Can i have a system ( like selecting the record of query or a checkbox in front of the records from where i can select the record and create a make table query against a customer. Any help on this ?

    Thanks for your invaluable time.

Probably, but why do you need to? Why would you need to make table? Sounds like db design is flawed.

I am on a library management software. I want that instead of entering the book details of the books required by the members, they are able to select records ( book details) which they want to take on loan from the Lib. I don't want them to fiddle with the tables, so I have queried the data of my table in a form. From here, members could select the required books ( with check box or vb coding) and after selecting the required books, member should press a command button to copy the selected records in a table which is the loan against his name.

I know that I am novice and my ideas may look weird. However, I am gaining from you guys. Thanks

You might look at the Lending Library template database.

You really should not copy entire book record, just save the unique ID of the book, user ID, and date.

Do you care about history of book check out?
