Can I input data from a subform in a table or datasheet type view?

I have attached some pictures to help describe my current situation. I have a set up like the first picture shows. Like the second picture shows I have a table where I have listed all of the different services I want to provide. In the third picture you can see how they are attached to a bid with a number of hours associated to them.

What I would like to do is input the data showing all the options and you can just put in the hours you want to spend on a task in the hours column on the row of the task. The problem is I currently am creating each record that stores that data, so I am not sure how I would do it without creating a record for each situation and then deleting the records I didnt end up using, but this seems like the incorrect way to do this, if this is even possible.

    Any information is appreciated.

Can you explain? Right now in the 3rd picture the information is going into the Services table.

Sorry, I didn't pay close enough attention. I thought that was what I now see is the SCUservices table.

In looking at what you have with a new outlook, it looks like you have done it correctly. A bid is a bid. If it turns into a job that has fewer services then you will need to have a mechanism to deal with that.

I don't know your entire system. What is the problem with the way you are doing it now?

Its not a problem to do it this way, I just thought if the person inputting could see all the options instead of having to use the combo box to see all the options that it would be easier for them to input.

Maybe you want to incorporate a ListBox for a selection control.
