Maximize Switchboard and hide shutter bar

How do I have the main switchboard maximize when the database is open to hide the shutter bar?

Never heard term 'shutter bar' before. Exactly what is it?

I don't remember much about Access 2003 but didn't think it was a 'navigation pane' but was a window. Are you using 2003 or 2007/2010? Hiding the navigation pane/window can be done with project property setting. Hold the shift key down when you open project to override.

    For maximize, review http://www.techonthenet.com/access/s...d/maximize.php

This is for 2010. I figured it out. It is much like 2003 in that once you hide the navigational pain you can hit F11 to open it to work in it. You can close the navigational pane by going to File / Options / Current Database then unclick Display Navigation Pane.
